A spa day in the Phang Nga jungle

The complex is spread out under the open sky, so you move between pools and treatment areas surrounded by greenery. Expect mineral pools, herbal baths, a Tom Yum bath and coffee baths, mud treatments and saunas, plus a lily lake, photo spots, a café and lounge areas. It is the kind of place where you switch off completely after a few hours of sightseeing.

How the guided day flows

Both guided programs start with a morning hotel pickup and a stop at the new White Temple, built in December 2025, followed by the beach where planes fly low overhead on approach. Next comes Elephant Beach, where you can bathe elephants in the sea, feed them, swim and relax on the sand. After lunch and the afternoon highlight, the day ends with about three hours at Mantra Forest Spa before the drive back to Phuket in the evening.

Choosing between the four options

Mantra Spa + Samet Nangshe includes a lunch with sea views at Elephant Beach and a stop at the Samet Nangshe viewpoint, known for its sweeping views. Mantra Spa + Glass Bridge, our recommended option, swaps the viewpoint for the Beyond Skywalk glass bridge with lunch overlooking Phang Nga Bay, and offers a fuller elephant program with close contact and a photo session. Both come with a Russian-speaking guide, entry tickets and insurance.

If you only want the spa, choose a transfer. The private transfer is a car for your group of up to four people (a minivan is available for larger groups), while the group transfer is priced per person and requires at least two travellers. Spa entry tickets are not included with either transfer.

Why a transfer makes sense

The spa lies far outside Phuket. Finding a taxi one way is easy, but getting back is often difficult and overpriced, which is exactly why a return transfer saves you stress. Bring swimwear, a change of clothes and sunscreen, and ask the GoGo Phuket manager in chat or WhatsApp which option fits your plans.

Frequently asked questions

Which Mantra Forest Spa option should I choose?+

For a full day of sightseeing plus spa, take the glass bridge program (our pick) or the Samet Nangshe version. If you only want to relax at the spa, book a private or group transfer.

Are spa tickets included?+

Yes in both guided programs, together with lunch, drinks, the elephant program, park fees and insurance. With the transfer options the spa ticket is paid separately.

How much time do we get at the spa?+

On the guided programs the spa is the final stop, from mid-afternoon until the departure back to the hotel in the early evening — about three hours.

How does the group transfer work?+

It is a shared return transfer priced per person and can be booked for two or more people. For privacy or a flexible schedule, choose the private car instead.

What should I bring?+

Swimwear, a towel or change of clothes, sunscreen and a phone or camera for photos with the elephants and at the viewpoint or glass bridge.
