What you will see
The Krabi archipelago lies across the bay from Phuket, and every program visits several of its best-known islands. Lao Lading is a small island with a cosy beach framed by palms and tropical greenery. Hong Island has a long white beach, a jungle trail and a viewpoint, and its enclosed lagoon is viewed from the boat. The sandbar of Laem Haad on Koh Yao Yai is famous as a filming location for The Mechanic with Jason Statham. Each trip is led by a Russian-speaking guide, with snorkeling gear, national park fees and unlimited water and soft drinks on board.
Choosing between the three programs
Krabi Early Departure by Catamaran picks you up before dawn, around 05:45–06:15. The reward is reaching Lao Lading at about 08:20, at the best time of day. You then see the Hong lagoon, spend time and have lunch on Hong Island, climb the hill on Koh Nok for sea views and walk the Laem Haad sandbar before returning to the pier around 15:00. Choose it if you are an early riser and like to be back by mid-afternoon.
Krabi + Sunset starts later, with a light breakfast at the pier. The route runs through Naka Yai, Pakbia — where at low tide you can walk a sea maze — the long beach of Hong Island, snorkeling near Hong and Lao Lading, and finishes with sunset on a sandbar at the uninhabited island of Ko Pare. It suits couples and photographers who do not want an early alarm.
Krabi + Yao Yai + Naka Yai is the most relaxed pace, with breakfast at the pier, lunch on Hong, a stop near Monkey Island, the Laem Haad sandbar and beach time on Naka Yai. It also includes a transparent kayak, SUP boards and a towel, and groups are limited to 30 people.
Practical tips
Bring swimwear, sunscreen, a hat and a dry change of clothes; fins are not included, so pack your own if you snorkel a lot. Towels are provided on request on the early trip and included on the Yao Yai + Naka Yai route. Timings and the order of stops may change at the guide's discretion. If you are pregnant, you must tell our manager when booking — otherwise the crew may refuse boarding at the pier.
