Day one: Batu Caves and Petronas

After the transfer to Phuket airport and the flight to Kuala Lumpur, a Russian-speaking guide meets the group once you clear immigration. The city tour starts with an introduction to the capital and the country, then heads to the Hindu temple set inside the limestone Batu Caves and on to the Petronas Twin Towers for a photo session in front of the famous skyline.

Next you check into the hotel and have free time. The guide meets the group to give tips on shopping and interesting places, and offers optional evening or next-day excursions at an extra cost.

Day two: historic Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya

After breakfast and some free time, the tour continues with Independence Square, the Chinese Thean Hou Temple with its panoramic city views and the Old Railway Station. The group then drives to Putrajaya, Malaysia's modern administrative center, where Islamic architecture meets futuristic urban design. Stops include a photo stop at the Prime Minister's Office, the pink Putra Mosque (you can go inside except on religious holidays), the Palace of Justice and the International Convention Centre, shaped like a flying saucer, with a view over the lake and the city. From there you fly back to Phuket and transfer to your hotel.

Before you go

Bring a passport valid for more than six months from the date of travel. Travelers with a long-term Thai visa should arrange a re-entry permit on their own, as it is not part of the package. Additional excursions and attractions, a single room and personal expenses are paid separately, and the program may be adjusted for weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

Who it suits

The trip works well for travelers who want a second country on their Thailand holiday in just two days, and for families: children aged 0–2 travel on a reduced ticket.
