Lakes and hot springs of Bang Khram

The first half of the day is spent in the Bang Khram nature area, known for its natural attractions and hot springs. The Emerald Pool is a clear green lagoon in the forest where you can take a swim. From there a jungle trail leads to the Blue Pool, a photo stop rather than a swimming spot. Then you move on to Khlong Thom Nuea hot stream, a set of natural thermal pools where you get free time to soak and unwind before lunch at a local café.

Tiger Cave Temple and Klang Cave

In the afternoon the tour reaches Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea), one of the most famous temples in Krabi. You can take on the climb of 1,260 steps to its highest point for a sweeping view, or stay at the base and explore the temple grounds at your own pace. Next is Klang Cave, one of the largest caves in Krabi, and on the way back you stop to feed a baby elephant and take photos.

How the day flows

This is a long trip: pickup is before dawn because the drive from Phuket to Krabi takes a few hours, and you return to your hotel in the evening. There is one program for this Krabi hot springs tour, and all entrance tickets and national park fees are already included, as are lunch and drinks.

Who it suits

The tour suits travellers who want nature and Thai spirituality in a single day, and families who prefer walks and warm pools to boat rides. The temple staircase is optional, so less active guests can still enjoy the day. It is marked as suitable during pregnancy; please tell our manager about it when booking.

What to bring

Pack swimwear and a towel for the Emerald Pool and hot springs, comfortable walking shoes for the trail and temple steps, water, sunscreen and insect repellent. Bring clothes that cover shoulders and knees for the temple and some cash for a temple offering and a fruit basket if you want to feed the elephant.
