Two island groups in one trip
Most day trips from Phuket cover Phi Phi alone. This program adds the Koh Rok islands, a far less crowded destination with secluded beaches and reefs for snorkeling, and saves the Phi Phi highlights for the second morning. Spending the night on Phi Phi Don also lets you see the island in the evening, when its bars and beach parties come alive.
Day 1: Koh Rok and a night on Phi Phi Don
After an early hotel pickup you have a full breakfast at the pier and meet your guide before the boat heads to the Rok islands. The first stop is snorkeling off Koh Rok Nok, followed by beach time and lunch on Koh Rok Nai and another snorkeling session at Koh Rok Haa. In the afternoon you reach Phi Phi Don and check in to Phi Phi Mountain Beach Resort, a hotel with views. Before dinner you can hike up to the island viewpoint (the entry ticket is paid separately), and after dinner the night belongs to fire shows and parties.
Day 2: Maya Bay, Pileh Lagoon and Bamboo Island
After breakfast and check-out the boat sets off for Maya Bay, the cove where The Beach with Leonardo DiCaprio was filmed. The route continues to Pileh Lagoon, Viking Cave and Monkey Beach, with a snorkeling stop off Phi Phi Don and lunch on the island. The final stop is Bamboo Island for free time on the sand, then the boat returns to the pier and you are driven back to your hotel.
Good to know before booking
The tour does not run in the low season and reopens on 1 November. A Russian-speaking guide is available on Thursdays. Mask and snorkel are provided, but fins are rented separately, and travellers who want a room to themselves pay a single supplement. The trip is not possible during pregnancy, as speedboat rides are strictly prohibited for expectant mothers.
