What the FantaSea show is about
The performance runs for about an hour and a half inside the Palace of the Elephants theatre. The storyline follows an old Thai legend about Prince Kamala and his beloved, told through choreography, acrobatics, animals and elaborate light and sound design. Expect a colourful, fast-moving spectacle built for the whole family.
How the evening flows
The theme park gates open at 17:30. Guests with dinner have the buffet from around 18:00 and then free time to stroll the grounds, visit the shops and feed the elephants. The show starts at 20:30 and ends around 22:00, and transfers get you back to Patong, Kata and Karon at roughly 22:30. Pickup for dinner packages is around 17:00–17:30, and for show-only tickets around 18:30–19:00 from the same areas; other parts of the island may have different times.
Standard or Gold, with or without dinner
There are four ticket options. Standard seats are the entry-level choice, and Gold is the higher seating category in the theatre. Both can be booked as show-only tickets or with the buffet dinner added. If you plan to arrive early and spend time in the park anyway, the dinner packages make the most sense; if you only want the show, a Standard or Gold ticket on its own is enough.
Days, children and transfers
The show runs on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Ticket categories are based on height: guests over 140 cm pay the adult rate and children from 100 to 140 cm need a child ticket. Kids under 100 cm watch for free without their own seat. Transfer is not included in any ticket and is charged per person for the round trip — small children included. The show is marked as suitable during pregnancy.
Tips
Arrive with time to spare so you can see the park before dinner. Keep some cash for souvenirs, paid drinks and extra attractions on site, and book ahead through our manager for the day you want.
