What to expect at Carnival Magic

The park is designed as one big festival. The centrepiece is River Carnival, a show full of dance, acrobatics, moving platforms and bright special effects. After the performance, take a walk through the Kingdom of Lights, where tens of millions of lights turn every path into a photo spot. Guests with dinner packages eat at a buffet serving Thai and international dishes before the show.

Evening schedule

Pickup from hotels in Kata, Karon and Patong is around 17:00–17:30; if you stay in another area, the time may differ. The park opens at 17:30, dinner and free time begin at about 18:00, and the show runs from 20:30 to around 22:00. You are back at your hotel between 22:30 and 23:30.

Standard or Royal, with or without dinner

Four ticket types are available. Standard seats are the base category and Royal seats are the premium one. Either can be booked for the show only or with the buffet dinner. Transfer is part of every ticket, which makes Carnival Magic an easy evening out without taxi negotiations. Choose a dinner package if you want to arrive relaxed, eat on site and enjoy the park before the curtain rises; show-only tickets work if you have already had dinner.

Children and families

Ticket categories depend on height. Children from 100 to 140 cm need a child ticket, which also matters for activities in the Carnivalistic Kids' Club. Kids from 101 to 140 cm booked as a child with dinner get a small gift to collect at the club. Children under 100 cm enter free without their own seat, but still pay for their minivan seat on the transfer.

Good to know

The show runs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. In quieter low-season periods or for remote hotels a transfer surcharge may apply, so share your hotel name with our manager when booking. The show is marked as suitable during pregnancy. Bring some cash for souvenirs, paid drinks and extra fun inside the park.
